Individualism

I'm watching Divergent as I write this and it got boring for me pretty quick. Not that the movie was boring it was just too predictable or felt that way to me anyway. The storyline is predictable but what's more is that all that the movie is individualism. It's the same for the movie Hunger Games it seems like all the movies really are about individualism and that you should be who you are. It also seems like the future would be more conforming.

Conforming speaks more to governmental ideals but it seems like you should remember you're an individual. At least that's what this movies says to me I suppose people have a different interpretation of the movie I would like to hear everyone's take on it.

Awkward Comedy

I recently watched the movie Sex Tape (with Jason Segel and Cameron Diaz), the movie left me a little uncomfortable. I had no way of putting this movie in a any category, the scene where they try to get the iPad back from Annie's future boss was too long and again awkward. There was no way to describe how it left me feeling except a little tired and uncomfortable. What I thought about this morning was that maybe there should be a new category in where this movie can fall in to; Awkward Comedy. Awkward Comedy is what I came up with.

There is another movie that I think came up with this category other than the movie Awkward Comedy, That Awkward Moment. The whole movie That Awkward Moment is full of awkward moments and feeling of uncomfortable but the feeling is in the tittle of the movie. The thing about Sex Tape is that those awkward moments last a little bit too long and nowhere to put them. That some of those scene would have been unnecessary and could of been shortened.

To these movies I guess I would categorized them as Awkward Comedy and more movies I bet will be like this it seems like awkward comedy has been around for a while but the whole movie Sex Tape has to be the one to take the cake.

Waiting

I have no idea what to do right now. I'm suppose to go to the bank and the mall but the bank opens at 9 A.M. and the mall opens at 10 A.M. I want to leave like at 9:30 because I know I will be done with everything in half of an hour. I already did somethings like play games and stuff.

I had dropped off my wife where she works at 7 A.M. (I didn't have work today) she told me go pay the bill at the mall since it gets complicated online (they always want your bank info). As I have said before about the places that open later. I remember this coffee house, Starbucks on 78th and Cicero, in Cicero, IL by Chicago. I remember this coffee house had the best internet connection of any coffee houses that I've been to. I would of gone to the library but I looked up the hours and the library opened at 12 P.M. that was not an option. Since I always carry my laptop I had a specific place I wanted to go but not many places. I ended up in this coffee shop.

I don't have much to do now I'm waiting for something to come up. I feel that I can't write my own stories publicly but I don't mind writing on the blog as old as this blog is. I have half an hour left...

Something to write

I suppose all wanted was to continue writing the story I had currently left off on. I never know how to keep it up like make a daily schedule on writing so  thought I would check the old blog and see what I use to write. I just recently saw that the last post was in 2011, I didn't know what to think of that but I was surprised since blogging was and is something that I like doing but I never know how to go about this stuff(writing and blogging).
I feel though that in two years from now I will have a much more control over writing since that's what i want my profession to be. I have come to find out that writing is hard although I use to do a pretty good job when I was younger and less occupied with work. I suppose that's why I believe that I will have more control in two years given that I believe that I will be back in school and on track with a career, teaching. Now I know that teaching is not writing but I believe it is a window towards that goal more or less because I will have some free time and do what comes easy to me. Many people have told me that I am good at teaching but that is not what I want to do in the end, I want to leave something behind and I have found many books left behind from so many, albeit it's forward, dead people.
I read all these books and wonder where and when these people wrote these things that they became so famous for. Fame, though it would be nice, is not the reason why I want to write. I want to express myself in a more structured way. There so many books that I believe I wouldn't be able to read in my lifetime though it feels good to know they're there nonetheless. I want to be in a bookshelf one day, I want to inspire someone and most of all i want to create a world for someone who believes that such things existed.

Salvador Dali

One of my favorite artist is Salvador Dali. I think in some sense he was out of his mind in a good way though. A lot of his work leaves me breathless and filled with awe. I have seen a lot of his art and some weird things with performances or shows that he put on. Here is one of the show's pictures:

I have seen a lot of cats in his shows or performances. There is a video where he is playing a piano and a bunch of cats are coming out of it. Well I mainly wanted to put up this post to set up a painting I like by him. Salvador Dali.

Food

One of the things that I have learned about food is patience. I have learned that the hard way after many burns of food.

Especially with meat, you got to have a lot of patience if you want really tender meat when your done. I have found marinades work good too, though at first I didn't know how long to leave it. The first time I marinaded something it was steak, it worked well just overnight. Later I heard someone say that they left pork marinade for a week I was surprised to leave something that long marinating. I haven't tried something like that but I will.
Another thing I have seen is baked steak. I have seen pan seared first then they put it in the oven for a while but well slow roast first I like to go slow first then just crank it up at last to give it a crust.

Sandwiches are good. Anything that you can put between two buns is good. I have found the basic sandwich to have ham, mayonnaise, tomato, onion, lettuce, mustard and cheese. I like to add bacon once in a while gives it a touch and it's good. I think that's all I will write for now but I'll write more later.
